Vacancy & Position Details
1. Director (Planning & Development Office)
• Vacancy: 01
• Pay Scale: BDT 56,500 – 74,400/- (Grade-3, National Pay Scale 2015)
• Age Limit: Minimum 45 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Building Engineering & Construction Management / Urban & Rural Planning from a recognized university. Minimum 2nd Division/Class or GPA 3.50 out of 5.00 / CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 in all public examinations.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 15 years of service experience in government/autonomous/semi-government institutions, including at least 5 years as Deputy Director (Grade-5 equivalent) or above. Must have DP project preparation experience and practical knowledge of Public Procurement Rules-2008 & Public Procurement Act-2006. Additional preference for candidates with a diploma/degree in Planning & Development.
2. Deputy Registrar (Registrar Office - Administration & Communication Branch)
• Vacancy: 01
• Pay Scale: BDT 43,000 – 69,850/- (Grade-5, National Pay Scale 2015)
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's and Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Minimum 2nd Division/Class or GPA 3.50 out of 5.00 / CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 in all public examinations.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 09 years of active experience in government/autonomous/semi-government or public university as Assistant Registrar / Assistant Controller of Examinations (Grade-6 equivalent). Preference for administrative experience in public universities.
3 to 6. Assistant Professor Positions (Grade-6, NPS 2015: Tk. 35,500 – 67,010/-)
• Assistant Professor (Cyber Security Engineering Department): Vacancy: 01 | 4-year Bachelor's & Master's in Cyber Security / Computer Science & Engineering / IT or relevant subject.
• Assistant Professor (Data Science & Engineering Department): Vacancy: 01 | 4-year Bachelor's & Master's in Data Science / IT / Computer Science & Engineering or relevant subject.
• Assistant Professor (Software Engineering Department): Vacancy: 01 | 4-year Bachelor's & Master's in Software Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / IT or relevant subject.
• Assistant Professor (General Education Department): Vacancy: 01 | 4-year Bachelor's & Master's in English / Economics / Business Management or relevant discipline.
Common Criteria for Assistant Professor Positions:
- Academic Standard: Minimum CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 or 1st Class in both Bachelor's and Master's; minimum GPA 4.00 out of 5.00 in SSC & HSC.
- Experience: 1 year teaching experience for Ph.D. degree holders, 2 years for M.Phil., and 3 years for Master's degree holders at the university level.
- Publications: At least 3 research papers in peer-reviewed journals (minimum 1 as First Author / Corresponding Author in SCI/SCIE indexed journals like IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley, ACM, etc.).

• Tribal Candidates: BDT 50/- (Tk. Fifty only).
